MY STORY

I’ve always been a very creative person, I really struggled at school, I tried hard but my dyslexia caused big blocks for me.

I love my dogs with my whole heart, I love travelling and the sea, I’ve always felt a sense of calm whenever I’m by the sea and love nothing more than swimming with the creatures in it! My biggest dream is to swim with whales which I’m hoping will come true this year 🤞🏼

I started making jewellery in the first lockdown, I had just come out of a pretty stressful working situation and was hoping to go travelling. Covid paused those plans so being the impulsive person I am I spent a big chunk of savings on tools and materials when I had never ever done any sort of jewellery making and decided I’d give it my all! So I sat for hours on end watching YouTube videos and I completely fell in love with creating jewellery. A couple months after making my first ring I decided to make a business page and so my small biz was born. Three months into starting my business I got my first display in a shop and six months after that I made my first engagement ring that then got a feature in a magazine 🤯 My first two Christmas markets sold out which made my heart burst! Just over a year of making I got a job working for a jewellery designer in Cornwall for six months and I’m now back at home travelling into London twice a week for a course in art and design of jewellery to fill in any gaps I might have. I really never thought when I bought my tools on a whim that I’d end up finding my dream career!
